This is the place to meet your friends once a week, the place to go after work for a pint, the place to see the big game, to take your family on Sunday afternoon for lunch. As you probably conjectured, Court Jester is a local pub/watering hole for the downtown locals for various occasions. One of the more notable reasons to go is for $2 orders of wings on Monday nights after 9pm (also known as "Wing Night"). This is not the place for Fois Gras and Filet Mignon; this is the burger and wings with your beer joint! The "meals" are a little pricey for me ($12-$20) so I usually stick to appetizers and munchy food. One goes to Court Jester for the company and the spirits! Guilty pleasure food tastes so good with an ice cold beer and the "let's just have a good time" attitude of everyone around you.
I recommend the wings and the burgers. I can usually get a double order of wings and a side of fries for about $10 on Wing Night. My friends love their selection of beers (local/imported/domestic) and they're always trying out and discovering new favorites. The bar is quite extensive; their cocktail offerings are also impressive. It's easy to unknowingly run up a high tab on the drinks, especially when out with friends. But that's what I love about this place the most- the cozy, neighborhood atmosphere.
Always a fun place to eat. Good job on your blog! Keep it up.
